M-PC2 vehicle computer software utilities

Untitled Document Supplied as a complementary add-on to the M-PC2 vehicle-first computer, Microbus software utilities have been specifically developed to simplify access to applications and to provide easy control of peripheral equipment such as TRACKER® and emergency services’ lightbars.
Task Control allows the user to create bespoke menus (which can be accessed from the OnScreen™ Control Menu) each of which displays buttons to open up to seven different menus and further applications. Each menu can be configured to display predefined buttons and individual sub-menus can be protected with password control.
The Taskbar application displays a set of up to seven menu buttons for your most commonly used applications.
This remains on top of other applications and can be configured to appear either at the top, bottom or sides of the screen to best fit the user’s workspace.
Task Button Manager allows you set up the buttons for all the menu structures. Each menu can be selected from a drop down list and applications chosen to appear for each. Buttons can also be renamed and moved easily for each menu.
Clean Screen™ disables the touchscreen while you clean it and shows where it has been cleaned. The LCD Off function switches off the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen - especially useful for covert operations. As well as full control of the screen’s settings, the M-PC2’s software utilities include the AutoBrightness application, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the touchscreen according to the time of day. Locked Down Internet Explorer consists of a set of five programs that each displays a choice of home web pages but from which the user cannot access data on the hard disk. There are a host of other applications available.
