Microbus launches new OptiVue™

Untitled Document Microbus is pleased to announce the launch of OptiVue - a brand new display technology to be incorporated across its range of high performance 8 inch touchscreens.
OptiVue gives our customers the most advanced screen display performance available for Microbus vehicle-first PCs.
The OptiVue range uses the ambient light to increase brightness to 650cd/m2 - this compares to a standard laptop with less than 200cd/m2. Richard Blake, Sales & Marketing Director at Microbus says: "Clearly this improvement in screen performance is the new benchmark in the market. In bright direct sunlight the performance of the screen is unbelievable, yet when used in darkness or even going through a tunnel the screen adapts to its environment so that the user is unaware of any change at all. We believe OptiVue will make a big difference in vehicle PC displays."
OptiVue utilises a transflective technology that provides the optimal brightness and contrast ratio in all lighting conditions - including direct sunlight - and virtually eliminates internal reflections that impair display clarity.
