Microbus AV case studies coming soon
Untitled Document | Cable harness sets and splitters | The camera's flying lead is terminated with the latest high-grade snap-lock connector. This short lead can then be extended through to the recording and display equipment via a range of extension cables that break out into individual terminating connectors. Typically the cables provide video phono plug, audio jack plug, serial D-type connector, 12V power and optional RCU connectivity. The cabling is compatible with the Microbus M-PC range of computers. |
| Remote Controls | A simple RCU handset is available for direct connection to the Sabre 10. Use of a direct RCU leaves the capability to use the serial interface for PC hosted camera control, GPS input and other capabilities normally precluded by serially connected devices. In addition, Sabre cameras are provided with a software GUI based RCU that can be simply re-skinned and configured. |
| Brackets | The windscreen mount is designed and recommended for ease of installation and use. The bracket is supplied with tape to bond to the windscreen. An adaptor plate is available for installations that require a P&T or roadside tripod arrangements. |
| Pan and Tilt Interface Unit | An interface unit is available for camera control and camera movement from a single RCU or serial interface. The interface is compatible with a number of industry standard Pan and Tilt devices. |
| Optical | A range of polarising filters and lens hoods provide significant improvements to the quality of images experienced under challenging strong sunlight and night lighting conditions. |
| Software Options | Using the multi-processor intelligence within the Sabre, a number of additional capabilities are offered as software upgrades. These include the GPS-based On Screen Display (OSD) features, Pulse generated own speed information and other serial devices. |
| GPS Option | When used independently, any GPS providing NMEA RMC data can be used to provide GPS OSD input. |
